HTML je zkratka z HyperText Markup Language (hypertextový značkovací jazyk). Byl vytvořen v roce 1990. HTML je tovřeno tzv. tagy, které se rozdělují na párové a nepárové. Párové jsou vždy dva, začínajíci a ukončující.
